The Nell Standard
Posted by Smurov, Guest Author, on 09/27/07 at 09:58 PM
Upon reading Miriam’s response to yesterday’s post, it occurs to me that Collins proposes a novel standard of literary value.
- Convene the PTA on the docks.
- Call up to the clipper’s captain: “Does Little Nell yet live?"
- If “yes,” deem the book acceptable. If “no,” start the bonfire.
Post should have been titled “The Nell Hypothesis”.
"The Nell Delusion” by Richard Dawkins.
