The Body Speaks
But what would Zizek say? Or Searle?
Comments
Gesture-syntax does not really refer to some precise mood, whatever moods are (as with the hands to forehead “pondering” gesture--is it worry, or a sort of professiorial cynicism, maybe even a hammy-Hamlet pose? all or none of the above). Except the ear-grabs--gals who instinctually reach for right ears when they see you are most likely telling you somethin’. Now, when you are in a Melrose espresso joint and Gina’s repeatedly reachin’ for her lobe a gauche, you better have some 20’s & latex in the Camry.
