It is a truth universally acknowledged that Laura Carroll has kindly and flatteringly requested that I tell you: should you happen to be in Australia or its convenient vicinity, 29-30 November-ish, A.D. 2007; if you have an interest in the subject indicated by the title of this post; then this is the conference for you. I should probably add: within Australia, the closer you are to Melbourne, the less wearisome the commute.

Thank you John. As for the commute, well, the meals on Qantas are a tiny bit better than the average, but this probably doesn’t make up for the fourteen hour flight from Los Angeles.
