Hugh Wolverine Jackman can Sang!
Yeah, it’s not high culture, it’s not literature, it’s just a bloody song and dance man from Oz. But in the fuzzy wuzzy gooey screwy manner of the addled old humanist who thinks everything is connected to everything else, here’s music and community starting 55 seconds in:
Corny? Heck, yeah! But no doubt it’s related to the most abstruse of philosophical and computational musings about homo sapiens sapiens.
The most interesting moment is when Jackman stops singing for a moment and cocks his ear to the audience. & the second most interesting moment, for me at any rate, is at the end of the movie clip when he drops down to a crystal clear piano without a hint of breathiness. Magic.
Note: Notice that he uncrosses his legs before he starts singing.
