Not surprisingly, my question was something about how John, Bitch, Scott, and Michael all feel they developed a contract with their readership. Unfortunately, I think it came out sounding like I meant “What do you do about trolls?”
Why do you say that? Just because it’s the one I answered? Because really, the words that leave my mouth and what occasioned them? Entirely unrelated.
I think the problem was that I had no idea at the time what I was thinking, but I knew a thought was in there somewhere, and I wanted to play very badly. Sometimes this magical thing happens where my mouth makes sounds that are smarter than my brain, but it’s a long shot.
